Credits: The Projects Behind This Site

This site would not exist without the work of the open-source community. We host software built by others, and we want to credit it clearly.

The Citra team

Citra, the original Nintendo 3DS emulator, was created by the Citra developers and their contributors. Their work made 3DS emulation possible for everyone. Citra is released under the GPL-2.0 license. The final build we host is their work, kept exactly as it was, with full credit to the team.

The Azahar project

Azahar continues Citra’s open code as a maintained project. It carries the same license, GPL-2.0, and is built by its own community of contributors. Where we host Azahar builds, they come from the project’s own releases, with credit and their license intact.

How we host software

We re-host these builds so you can download them safely, without leaving for a random site. We do not change, rebuild, or rebrand them. Each download keeps its original license and links back to the upstream project. The frozen Citra build is preserved through public archives, and we credit that source.

Thanks to the community

Beyond the emulators themselves, countless community members have written documentation, made tools, and helped others. Our guides stand on that shared knowledge. We are grateful to everyone who keeps 3DS emulation alive and open.
