Yo-Kai Watch 3 – Tempura

The story begins in two different regions, each with its own towns, streets, and small areas filled with Yo-kai hiding around corners. One side follows a familiar Japanese neighborhood with shops, parks, and alleys, while the other side shows a quieter suburban town with wide roads and open spaces. You switch between the two characters as the plot moves forward, exploring new spots and meeting Yo-kai unique to each region.

Gameplay is simple and menu-friendly. You walk through towns, talk to NPCs, and use your Yo-kai Watch to find hidden Yo-kai. Battles use the Yo-kai Wheel system, where you rotate your team and activate Soultimate moves when the gauge fills. Each Yo-kai has its own role, such as healing, support, or attacking. Controls stay clear, letting you swap Yo-kai, use items, and choose actions without confusion. Quests guide you steadily, offering rewards like items, money, or new Yo-kai to befriend.

Difficulty grows over time as tougher quests and stronger Yo-kai appear. Some missions require you to search carefully for clues or defeat enemies with different resistances. Boss battles stand out with larger health bars and attack patterns that require simple planning. The Tempura version includes exclusive Yo-kai and version-specific content, giving you extra battles and trading opportunities. Optional areas hide rare Yo-kai or special quests that offer better rewards. As the story continues in both regions, enemies gain higher stats, and certain quests expect a balanced team, encouraging you to train, upgrade, and recruit stronger Yo-kai.
