Yo-Kai Watch 3 – Sukiyaki

Two parallel adventures open at the same time, one in a familiar Japanese town filled with narrow streets and small NPC events, and the other in a wider American-style neighborhood with open roads and different Yo-kai hiding around corners. Switching between the two main characters lets you explore both sides of the story, unlocking quests, side paths, and Yo-kai that belong only to their region. New areas appear gradually, giving you more shops, houses, and small maps to explore as the plot grows.

Gameplay is simple and easy to follow. You walk through towns, talk to characters, and use the Yo-kai Watch to uncover hidden Yo-kai nearby. Battles use the Yo-kai Wheel system, where you rotate your team to bring out attackers, healers, or support Yo-kai when needed. Soultimate moves activate when their gauges fill, giving strong attacks or helpful buffs. Controls stay clear, so swapping Yo-kai, using items, and following quest steps feels natural even for beginners. Completing quests gives you money, items, and chances to befriend new Yo-kai for your roster.

Challenge builds steadily as the story moves forward. Later quests introduce stronger Yo-kai and tougher conditions that expect good team balance. Some enemies resist certain damage types, pushing you to switch Yo-kai more often. Boss fights stand out with bigger health bars and simple attack patterns that require steady timing. Sukiyaki adds extra story content, special Yo-kai, and version-exclusive battles that expand your team options. Optional areas hide rare Yo-kai, bonus quests, and stronger opponents. Each chapter increases difficulty a little at a time, encouraging you to train your team and unlock better moves.
