Town areas outside the dungeon provide shops, inns, and simple story events that introduce new party members or explain goals for the next section.

Turn-based movement and battles form the core of the gameplay. Every step advances enemies on the map, and fights begin through clear menu options for attacking, guarding, and using skills. Party roles stay easy to understand, with characters specializing in physical damage, healing, or support skills. A monster-recruiting system lets defeated creatures join the group, train alongside allies, and learn new abilities. Equipment, stats, and skill upgrades grow at a steady pace, making progress simple to track across floors.

Deeper levels introduce new mechanics through updated enemy behavior, floor traps, and stronger attacks that require basic planning.
