Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles – Danger of the Ooze

The Turtles respond when a toxic ooze begins spreading through the city, and the first mission starts with a direct goal to reach the affected area and stop the contamination from spreading. Streets, alleys, and sewers immediately show hazards and enemy placements that must be cleared. April and Splinter provide short instructions, pointing out key locations or targets. Every stage begins directly with a simple objective such as defeating ooze creatures, rescuing trapped civilians, or reaching the next checkpoint.

Combat uses each Turtle’s unique weapon and movement style to handle enemies. Leonardo swings swords, Raphael strikes with sai, Donatello attacks with his bo staff, and Michelangelo spins nunchucks. Attacks can be chained into combos, and special moves use energy for area damage or multi-enemy hits. Hazards such as slime patches, broken pipes, and collapsing platforms appear along the way, requiring dodging, jumping, or climbing. Each action responds instantly, showing damage done and clearing paths toward the next area.

Later missions introduce stronger ooze mutants with armor, ranged attacks, and unpredictable movement patterns. Levels grow larger with multiple enemy waves and environmental hazards that demand careful navigation and combo use. Unlockable upgrades improve Turtle abilities, attack power, and speed for tougher fights. Short dialogue pieces indicate which area is most affected and where to focus next. The campaign ends with a confrontation against the ooze’s source, finishing once the main threat is neutralized and the city is cleared of contamination.
