The story moves through simple missions where the shinobi must stay hidden, track marked targets, and survive short battles while moving from one area to the next. Each zone shows clear routes, watch towers, and small hiding places that help in avoiding danger. Short scenes explain new tasks, introduce rival fighters, and show how the mission grows more serious with every new section.

Movement and actions stay very easy to handle, using simple steps for running, sliding, climbing, and hiding. Enemies react when the shinobi gets too close, and a bright symbol appears to show when danger is near. Missions often start with searching for a target, then switching to escape once the rival notices the chase. Combat uses short strikes that end fights quickly without complicated commands. Some missions ask for tagging items, reaching checkpoints, or staying unseen for a short time. Markers on the screen guide the direction, helping the shinobi move through busy areas without confusion.

New regions unlock later, each one built with tighter corners, faster enemies, and more patrol lines that make movement feel more active. Special items like fast shoes, light bombs, or tracking tools appear as rewards and make later missions easier. Rival shinobi show up across the story, each with slightly different patterns and behaviors that bring small changes to the chases. Clearing more missions opens harder stages with stronger enemies, but the game always keeps the actions simple and the goals clear as the shinobi keeps moving through the survival battle.
