Warring leaders fight for control of ancient China, and the story begins when the player chooses a ruler from the Three Kingdoms era. Each ruler starts with a small region, a few officers, and limited resources. The player must manage land, build armies, and deal with rival forces trying to expand their power. Events appear as simple scenes that show alliances, betrayals, or battles starting across the land. The goal is to unite China by taking enemy cities and keeping your own safe.

The gameplay mixes strategy and easy menu choices. The player assigns officers to tasks like training soldiers, gathering supplies, or improving city defenses. Armies move on a simple map, and battles happen when two forces meet. Combat uses clear commands such as attack, defend, or use special tactics. Some officers have skills that raise morale or weaken enemies. Cities must be checked often so food stays high and troops remain strong. The controls keep everything simple, letting the player manage armies and cities without confusion.

As the game continues, rival rulers grow stronger, and wars spread across more regions. Some enemies send large armies that require careful planning to defeat. Others try to weaken the player through surprise attacks or by taking poorly defended cities. A few officers can be recruited from enemy forces if the player wins battles or handles negotiations well. Later in the game, stronger units, better tactics, and larger territories become important for survival. Each captured city expands the player’s power, bringing them closer to uniting the land under one rule.
