The first fight begins when the high school hallway erupts with a gang challenge, and the opening mission starts with a direct goal to defeat rival students blocking the path. Each area immediately shows enemies, obstacles, and interactive objects such as crates or benches that can be used in combat. Short messages from teammates indicate which opponent to focus on or which path to clear. Every stage starts directly with a simple objective such as defeating all rivals, reaching a target location, or protecting a friend.

Combat relies on basic punches, kicks, and grabs, with combo attacks chaining moves together to defeat enemies faster. Characters can pick up objects like bats or trash cans to use as weapons, and some areas include environmental hazards like slippery floors or narrow ledges that affect movement. Special moves fill a meter that can be unleashed for area damage or stronger single attacks. Every hit registers instantly, showing damage dealt and clearing enemies from the path to the next objective.

Later stages introduce tougher gangs with faster attacks, shields, or special skills that require careful timing and positioning. New characters unlock with unique fighting styles that can counter specific enemy types. Levels expand to include larger maps, multi-room fights, and mini-boss encounters that challenge timing and combos. Short dialogue updates indicate which rival or area is next, guiding progress through the mission. The campaign ends once all gang leaders are defeated, closing after the final showdown and restoring order to the school.
