The Rabbids burst into the arena when the first battle begins, and the opening mission starts with a direct goal to defeat opposing Rabbids using a mix of attacks and abilities. Each stage opens immediately with clear enemy placements, obstacles, and zones that must be controlled. Short prompts explain which target to strike first or which strategy works best. Every battle starts directly with a simple objective such as defeating all opponents, protecting a zone, or reaching the end of the round.

Combat relies on selecting attacks and positioning each Rabbid strategically. Players choose between ranged, melee, or special abilities, each with a limited number of uses per turn. Some Rabbids block attacks or move unpredictably, requiring careful selection of moves. Environmental hazards, like moving platforms or bouncing obstacles, affect the outcome of each round. Every action responds instantly, showing damage dealt or status effects applied, helping guide the next move in real time.

Later arenas introduce tougher enemies with higher defense, faster attacks, and patterns that require planning several turns ahead. Unlockable Rabbids bring new skills, allowing combinations that can defeat multiple foes at once. Some rounds include mini-challenges, like timed attacks or target-specific objectives, adding extra layers to the battle. Short messages indicate which opponent must be defeated next or when to use a special skill. The campaign ends once all enemy teams are defeated and the Rabbids claim victory in every arena.
