Puyo Puyo Tetris

Bright tiles begin to fall when two puzzle worlds suddenly collide, bringing the characters from Puyo Puyo and Tetris into the same universe. The story begins as Arle, Amitie, and many familiar faces meet Tetris players who arrived through strange portals. Short scenes show everyone trying to understand why the worlds mixed together, leading them across towns, airships, and floating islands. Each chapter gives a clear goal, such as stopping a puzzle storm, calming a confused character, or solving a mix-up between the two game styles.

Every stage uses simple, familiar gameplay. In Puyo mode, matching four of the same color clears them, and chains create big attacks. In Tetris mode, arranging blocks into clean lines clears space and sends pressure to the opponent. Some stages switch between both styles, asking the player to adapt as the board changes. Controls are easy: rotate pieces, move them left or right, and drop them with a quick tap. Clear icons help beginners understand each action. Special rules appear in certain chapters, but all explanations are short and simple.

More modes unlock as the story moves forward, including mixed battles, score challenges, and calm solo puzzles. Characters react in short scenes before and after matches, showing friendly arguments, funny moments, and their attempts to fix the world merge. Later stages introduce bosses with larger attacks, but their patterns remain easy to see. Winning matches earns stars and unlocks extra boards, backgrounds, and characters.
