ROM Information
Powder starts in a very quiet way, giving you a small hero in a simple dungeon with no big explanation. You just begin on the first floor and look around to see what you can do. The game feels small at first, with narrow hallways, basic rooms, and a few creatures walking nearby. Even though nothing speaks to you, the world slowly shows how it works. You open doors, check items on the ground, and learn that every step matters. The setting feels soft and simple, but you can sense that each decision will shape how far you can go.
The gameplay is turn based, so the world only moves when you move. You walk one tile at a time, look at monsters, choose attacks, and pick up whatever tools you find. Some items help you heal, others protect you, and many are unknown until you test them. A sword might be strong, or it might be cursed. A potion might help, or it might do something strange. There is no pressure to hurry. You take your time, think about your options, and learn from every floor you clear. The controls stay easy, letting beginners play without confusion.
As you go deeper, the dungeon brings new enemies, stronger items, and rooms that feel more dangerous. Sometimes you get lucky and find great gear early. Other times you struggle with weak tools and must be careful with every fight. When your run ends, the next one begins fresh, letting you try a different path or new ideas. Powder feels simple on the surface, but every trip teaches you something. It becomes a calm, slow adventure where you learn through small steps, small risks, and small victories that make each run feel new.
