Neko Atsume – Kitty Collector

A quiet yard becomes lively when the player sets out food and toys, hoping different cats will stop by to relax and play. The story begins when the main character moves into a small house with an empty yard and decides to fill it with things that cats might enjoy. Short scenes show the yard changing as cushions, balls, boxes, and snacks are placed around. Each day brings simple surprises as new cats visit, leave small gifts, and sometimes return with friends.

The yard is easy to manage. The player taps menus to buy food, place toys, and move items around to make the space more comfortable. Cats appear on their own once things are set, and each one stays for a short time before leaving a small reward. These rewards can be used to unlock better food and new toys, which attract more types of cats. Some cats prefer soft mats, some like play equipment, and others appear only when a certain toy is placed. A photo mode lets the player take pictures and add them to a simple album.

New areas open later, like an indoor room or a spacious backyard that can be decorated with more items. Rare cats also start to visit if the right combination of toys and food is used. These special cats have unique looks and leave bigger rewards when they leave. All cats are recorded in a simple list that fills up as more visitors arrive.
