Po and his fellow warriors step onto the arena when the first showdown begins, and the opening battle starts with a direct goal to defeat enemy fighters before the time runs out. Each arena opens immediately with clearly placed platforms, hazards, and interactive objects that can be used during combat. Short prompts from Master Shifu indicate which opponent to target or which area to control. Every match starts directly with a simple objective such as knocking out enemies, holding a zone, or reaching a score target.

Fighting relies on basic attacks, combos, and special moves unique to each character. Po uses punches, kicks, and chi attacks, while other warriors have distinct abilities like spinning strikes, ranged attacks, or area effects. Some arenas include environmental hazards such as falling platforms, spikes, or moving objects that must be avoided or used strategically. Power-ups appear that temporarily boost attack, defense, or speed. Each hit or combo shows instant feedback, making it clear when opponents are weakened or defeated and helping plan the next move.

Later stages introduce tougher enemies with faster attacks, shields, or special abilities that require timing and strategy. Unlockable characters bring unique fighting styles and skills, allowing different approaches to battles. Arenas grow larger and include multiple levels, environmental challenges, and multi-opponent encounters. Short dialogue cues indicate which enemy or zone is most critical at each moment. The campaign ends once the final showdown is completed and the strongest opponents are defeated, concluding with victory for Po and his team.
