Racers line up at the start of the first track when the championship begins, and the opening mission starts with a direct goal to reach the finish line ahead of the competition while avoiding hazards. Each track shows ramps, loops, and obstacles that must be navigated immediately, and markers highlight key shortcuts or speed boosts along the route. Every race begins right away with a simple objective such as crossing the finish, beating a time, or collecting tokens spread across the course.

Driving relies on steering, accelerating, and using boost pads to gain an advantage. Tight turns require careful handling to avoid falling off edges, while loops and jumps need precise speed control to land safely. Some tracks include moving obstacles, falling barriers, or water hazards that slow progress if hit. Boost items appear on the path, giving short bursts of speed to pass opponents or reach high platforms. Opponents follow preset routes, forcing quick reactions to overtake them without crashing.

Later stages introduce longer tracks with more complex loops, narrower bridges, and faster rival cars that test timing and reflexes. New vehicles unlock after completing earlier races, each offering different handling, acceleration, and boost performance. Special events appear with time trials, token collection challenges, or multi-lap tournaments. Short commentary signals checkpoints, hazards, and rival positions. The championship ends once all tracks are completed, every race objective is achieved, and the winner is crowned World’s Best Driver.
