Green Lantern – Rise of the Manhunters

Hal Jordan takes off immediately when the Manhunters attack Coast City, and the first mission begins with a direct goal to stop the robots from causing destruction and protect civilians. Each area opens with clearly marked enemy positions, obstacles, and interactive objects that must be approached carefully. Short prompts from Sinestro or other allies indicate which threat to focus on or which path to take. Every stage starts directly with a simple objective such as defeating foes, reaching a checkpoint, or protecting a key location.

Combat relies on Green Lantern’s power ring, allowing Hal to create constructs for attacks, shields, and environmental manipulation. Enemies appear in waves with melee or ranged attacks that must be dodged or countered. Some sections include hazards like collapsing structures, moving platforms, or energy barriers that require careful timing. Each attack or defensive move responds instantly, showing damage dealt, enemy status, or progress toward completing the objective.

Later missions introduce stronger Manhunters with armor, energy weapons, and coordinated attacks that require strategic use of ring constructs and movement. Unlockable abilities and upgrades improve Hal’s power, range, or defensive constructs for tougher encounters. Levels expand into city streets, industrial zones, and skyscraper rooftops with multi-stage objectives, mini-bosses, and timed challenges. Short dialogue cues indicate which enemy or area must be addressed next. The campaign ends once the leader of the Manhunters is defeated and Coast City is secure, concluding Hal’s mission to restore order.
