Every chapter opens immediately with a simple objective tied to reaching the next location.

Exploration drives the gameplay, sending the character through houses, schools, forests, and attics while tapping objects to inspect, collect, or combine items. Puzzles rely on placing tools in the right spot, opening containers with found keys, or matching clues across different rooms. Some areas contain monsters that require quick decisions, such as using a specific item to scare them off or escaping before they corner the character. Inventory management becomes important when several clues need to be used in the correct order. Each solved step pushes the story forward without breaking the pace.

Later chapters introduce tougher obstacles like multi-step puzzles, larger maps, and Goosebumps creatures that react differently depending on the choices made. New locations unlock when earlier tasks are completed, including hidden basements, abandoned shops, and outdoor routes connected to the main threat. Short dialogue scenes reveal which monster is responsible for the chaos and point toward the next task.
