A dangerous event begins when strange energy erupts across several locations and creates powerful beings known as Gaists that start causing trouble in cities, caves, and research zones. The story opens with a young fighter joining a new team formed to stop these Gaists before the damage spreads further. Early scenes show simple missions where scientists explain what each Gaist can do, where it appeared, and how the team should approach the next area. Every chapter introduces a new threat, a short briefing, and a clear goal that moves the story from one region to the next.

Battles use easy controls with light attacks, strong hits, guarding, and short dodges that keep movement simple. Gaist Gear transforms during combat, changing the fighter into a stronger form with fast strikes and clearer power. Enemies use readable patterns, giving enough time to react or step away before attacking again. Special energy fills during fights and releases a strong move that deals heavy damage when the meter is full. Missions also include small tasks like collecting marked items, breaking objects, or defeating a set number of enemies before the path opens to the next area. Icons on the screen show health, energy, and direction, helping keep the action easy to understand.

New gear parts unlock after clearing major fights, allowing the fighter to try different strengths in later missions.
