The first chase begins immediately when a criminal convoy appears on the city streets, and the opening mission starts with a direct goal to intercept the vehicles and prevent them from escaping. Each route opens with clearly marked roads, hazards, and targets that must be navigated. Short prompts from allies indicate which car to follow or which obstacle to avoid first. Every stage starts directly with a simple objective such as reaching a checkpoint, stopping the target, or surviving until the end of the race.

Driving and combat drive the gameplay, sending the player to steer, accelerate, and brake while performing stunts or attacks on enemy vehicles. Weapons and gadgets appear during missions, allowing cars to shoot, deploy traps, or boost speed temporarily. Some sections include narrow turns, destructible obstacles, or moving hazards that require precise handling. Each hit, collision, or maneuver responds instantly, showing damage dealt, progress along the course, or success in completing objectives.

Later missions introduce faster opponents, heavier vehicles, and more complex routes with multiple objectives to complete simultaneously. Unlockable cars, upgrades, and equipment become available, improving speed, handling, or offensive capabilities. Levels expand to highways, city streets, and industrial areas with multi-stage chases and mini-boss encounters. Short dialogue updates indicate which vehicle or target must be focused on next. The campaign ends once all main targets are stopped, the criminal convoy is neutralized, and the city is secured.
