EX Troopers

A sudden emergency begins when a young cadet named Bren turns up at Nevan School, a training base built to prepare students for missions on icy planets. The story starts as strange creatures begin attacking research posts across the region, forcing Bren and his classmates to join real missions sooner than expected. Short scenes show Bren meeting his team, learning how the academy works, and hearing reports about missing pilots and damaged outposts. Each chapter points the group toward a clear mission, such as rescuing survivors, stopping a creature, or guarding a supply route.

Missions take place in open snowy fields, frozen caves, labs, and bases filled with enemies. Bren runs, jumps, and shoots with simple, clean controls. Weapons include basic blasters, spread shots, and special gear that can freeze, burn, or blast enemies with one button. A small jetpack helps Bren dash quickly or rise for a short hover, making movement easy to understand. Fighting monsters and enemy soldiers happens in short waves, and clear attack signs show when to dodge. Finishing a mission gives points and materials that help upgrade weapons or unlock new equipment.

New regions unlock as the threat grows, showing wide plains, icy cliffs, damaged stations, and large enemy nests. Boss creatures appear with strong attacks, but their patterns stay slow and readable. Between missions, Bren talks with classmates who share hints, react to events, and reveal small, funny moments at the academy. Training missions and challenge rooms open later, offering extra rewards.
