A strange train ride begins the moment the main character wakes up inside a dim carriage filled with fog and flickering lights. Doors rattle, shadows move across the windows, and the atmosphere feels tense as the train refuses to stop. Small notes, scattered belongings, and locked compartments hint that something went wrong before the character arrived. Each new carriage reveals darker clues about the shinigami-like figure said to appear somewhere on the train.

Gameplay centers on searching each room, checking objects, and solving simple puzzles that unlock new doors. Touching items reveals hints, short messages, or tools that help with later challenges. Some puzzles involve matching symbols, finding keys, or combining small objects found in hidden spots. Certain scenes trigger tense moments where quick choices or careful timing are needed to avoid danger. The pace stays focused on exploration, with every carriage offering a different puzzle style.

New sections of the train add harder puzzles, more complex locks, and scenes where the shinigami figure appears in brief, unsettling moments.
