Culdcept Revolt

Allen wakes up inside the rebel city after losing his memories, and the first task begins with a direct order to join the Free Bats and escape the government force that hunts all Cepters. The group explains that the city is locked down by magic barriers, and the only way out is to fight through districts controlled by enemy Cepters. Each mission opens with a clear objective such as reaching a gate, defeating a rival, or capturing enough territory on the board to move forward.

Card-based battles drive every encounter, placing Allen on a grid-like map where he summons creatures to claim spaces. Movement happens one roll at a time, and landing on unclaimed tiles allows a creature to be placed, while stepping on an enemy tile can trigger a direct fight. Creature cards use strengths, weaknesses, and item cards to win battles and keep territory under control. Spells change the board with effects like boosting allies, weakening enemies, or altering movement. Building chains of owned tiles increases magic income, making it easier to reach the mission’s goal amount.

As the story expands, rival Cepters grow stronger with better decks, smarter territory builds, and creatures that resist simple attacks. Allen gains new cards, upgrades, and preset deck options that help counter different strategies. Missions introduce changing rules such as blocked paths, restricted spells, or special victory conditions that require planning. Short scenes between battles reveal how the government maintains control and why the rebels fight to break the barrier. The campaign reaches its final stage when Allen confronts the strongest Cepters controlling the city, ending the conflict once the last barrier falls and the rebels secure their freedom.
