Conception II – Children of the Seven Stars

ROM Information

Wake appears in Fort City after receiving the mark of a Disciple, and the first mission begins with a direct order to enter the training facility and fight the monsters spilling out of the labyrinth. The school explains that the Dusk threat is growing, and Wake must work with the seven heroines to create Star Children who can enter deeper levels. Each new floor starts with a simple objective such as clearing a group of monsters, reaching a sealed gate, or gathering energy needed to unlock the next chamber.

Labyrinth battles rely on turn-based movement and clear attack choices. Wake and the heroine fight together on one side of the field, while Star Children form small squads that attack from different angles. Positioning around enemies matters, since hitting a weak spot can break their stance and open them to follow-up attacks. Skills use mana and have effects like healing, area strikes, or stat boosts that help the team push forward. Between fights, party members recover energy, explore side paths, and open treasure boxes scattered across each floor.

Deeper labyrinths introduce stronger Dusk creatures with armor, status attacks, and formations that require careful squad setups. Creating Star Children becomes more important, with different combinations producing classes that fill roles like support, heavy damage, or crowd control. Short scenes between missions explain how the Dusk is spreading and which heroine must accompany Wake next. Equipment upgrades improve teams before entering new regions, and challenge floors add time limits or tougher enemy groups. The story reaches its end when the team enters the deepest chamber and defeats the source of the Dusk, completing Fort City’s mission.
