Chibi-Robo receives an urgent request from the museum when the curator reports missing exhibits, and the first assignment begins with a direct goal to locate specific objects by taking accurate photos of real-world items. Each job lists a clear target shape, size, or outline that the museum needs for its display. The curator gives short instructions about where to search, and every task starts immediately with no buildup, focusing only on capturing the correct object to fill the empty exhibit frame.

Photo work drives the main gameplay, sending Chibi-Robo out with a camera and a simple requirement to match the object shown in the museum’s request. The camera frame must line up with the given silhouette, and the system checks angle, distance, and shape before accepting the photo. Successful shots turn into exhibits that the curator places in the museum. Missions in the building also appear, such as cleaning dirty spots, collecting trash, or powering devices by using Chibi-Robo’s plug tail. These actions reward watts, which act as the energy needed to continue tasks and unlock more requests.

Later assignments introduce more complex silhouettes that require better angles, tighter framing, or objects with specific features. New museum rooms unlock, each containing different requests and short tasks tied to preparing displays. Chibi-Robo gains access to additional tools and small upgrades that help with movement and energy management. Short dialogue scenes explain which exhibit needs filling and what object outline must be matched next. The job ends once all photo requests are completed, every exhibit is installed, and the museum’s collection is fully restored.
