Bukigami

A quiet shrine deep in the mountains starts the story as a young warrior discovers ancient spirits hidden inside legendary weapons. When one blade suddenly awakens, its spirit appears and explains that darkness is spreading through nearby lands. Early scenes show the warrior forming a bond with the first Bukigami, learning how each spirit carries its own personality and power. Temples, forests, and small villages introduce simple tasks that lead toward the first battles.

Gameplay centers on using weapon spirits in short action stages. Attacks depend on the Bukigami equipped, with light taps triggering quick blows and longer holds activating stronger moves. Some spirits specialize in fast combos, while others create wide slashes or defensive barriers. Gathering materials during battles helps strengthen weapons, unlocking new abilities or raising stats. Movement stays simple, focusing on dodging, striking, and timing skills.

New regions open as more Bukigami join, offering deserts, icy trails, and dark ruins with enemies that require different attack styles. Certain stages include mini-puzzles, such as breaking barriers with the correct spirit or lighting paths using special abilities. Boss encounters introduce larger foes with patterns that must be watched carefully. Extra quests allow collecting rare materials, awakening hidden powers, or improving bonds with weapon spirits.
