Battles use a turn-based system built around two simple ideas: “Brave” and “Default.” You decide whether to save your turns to defend yourself or spend multiple turns at once to launch a strong attack. This gives you full control over how risky or safe you want to play. Each character can use different jobs, like knight, mage, or archer, and switching jobs changes their skills completely. Learning how these jobs work together becomes a fun challenge, and trying new combinations helps you get through tougher enemies and bosses that stand in your way.

When you’re not fighting, the game lets you explore towns, talk to people, and take on small side quests that reveal more about the world. You also manage a small village that slowly rebuilds as you progress, unlocking better gear and helpful bonuses. These quieter moments give the adventure a nice balance, making the world feel alive and comforting.
