Ashiato Reversi – Kumamon Version

A quiet park in Kumamoto sets the story in motion as Kumamon notices a board on the ground covered in black and white footprints. Curious, he steps closer and discovers it’s a special Reversi game where each move leaves one of his footprints behind. Early scenes show Kumamon learning how to place pieces, flip opponent footprints, and claim space on the board. The surroundings stay light and friendly, with characters cheering as he begins his matches.

Gameplay centers on choosing spaces on the board to place a footprint, flipping nearby opponent pieces when they sit between matching colors. Touch controls highlight legal moves, making it easy to see where Kumamon can play. Each turn shows clear animations of footprints flipping from one color to another. Matches stay short and simple, allowing steady play across multiple rounds. Different board sizes and patterns appear as early goals are cleared.

New opponents join as progress continues, each using slightly different play styles. Some focus on corner control, while others try filling edges first. Challenge modes introduce timed turns or boards with unusual shapes. Extra themes add different backgrounds, colors, and playful Kumamon animations. As new boards unlock, matches grow trickier, offering more ways to place footprints and flip the board in Kumamon’s favor.
